Pharmacoepidemiology Unit

The evaluation of a medicine after its market authorisation is an identified prirority of Public Health. The principal axes for this evaluation concern the study of a medicine's risks and benefits as well as its use in real-life.

In this context, the Pharmacoepidemiology unit develops projects in diverse fields of investigation: methodological research, oncology, spa therapy, pneumology, psychiatry, cardiology...

The results of this research participate in the implementation of guidelines to optimise the benefits and to minimise the risks of medicines
